Vicky Tamaru, Plexipixel

Vicky is the co-founder and executive producer of Plexipixel, an Experience Design Agency in Seattle that has been successfully creating branded digital experiences since 2000 for multinational clients such as Adidas, Microsoft, Sony and Pokémon. She has previously spoken at LOGIN and Casual Connect’s Leadership Development Forum, currently sits on the Professional Action Committee for the Digipen Institute of Technology and has previously served on the Advergaming Committee of Casual Connect.

From playing space invaders in the 1970’s to chatting online before the “interwebs” were even invented, Vicky has been a geek since before it was cool. With one foot in the world of design and the other firmly planted in the world of technology, Vicky is able to bridge the gap with her unique understanding of emergent trends in UX and a passion for making digital experiences fun for everyone.
