David Preston, RideWest BMW

David Preston is the community manager for Ride West BMW motorcycles. With a good sense of humor and a somewhat irreverent approach to marketing he is building a loyal following and drawing a crowd from competing motorcycle brands.

In his breakout session at MarketMix 2012 David will share what works with the community, and what absolutely doesn’t work.
David Preston began his career as an English teacher, but his interest for motorsports led him to his current role as the community lead and marketing manager role at Ride West BMW.

He is the author of multiple non-fiction books covering motorcycle maintenance and riding. He has also published his first fictional novella, with the second on the way. He hosted “The Motorsports Show, with Dave Preston,” radio program for three years. He’s been published in dozens of local and national magazines and newspapers on a variety of topics over the years.
